About the role

Crunchtime is seeking a hardworking, detailoriented, Accounting Associate to assist with daytoday accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of GAAP as well as experience with the monthend close process, GL account reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, and posting journal entries. You should possess a strong work ethic as well as the desire to learn and the flexibility to adapt as a member of a dynamic, highgrowth, professional environment.

What youll do as an Accounting Associate

Prepare general journal entries, balance sheet account and bank reconciliations.
Prepare vendor payments for entry and processing in the General Ledger and Bank.
Reviews financial data for accuracy identifies problems and supports daytoday operations.
Assist Senior Accountant in preparation and reconciliation of weekly cash flow analysis.
Assists team members with closing tasks and responsibilities.
Assist with the preparation and execution of Audit requirements.
Supports team members with departmental workflow and efficiency projects and other special projects as requested.
Other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Two to four years of relevant experience, preferably in the accounting department of a SaaS or technology company.
Working accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
Experience working in Netsuite.
Cando attitude, ability to shift priorities quickly and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to haves
Bachelors degree in Accounting.
CPA andor Big 4 experience.
Experience in a fastgrowing technology industry.
