At ABB, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to lead our Process Industries Cement Business on a global scale.
This leadership role encompasses oversight of commercial activities, Including sales and marketing strategies, as well as portfolio management, research and development and overall business growth initiatives with the cement industry.
Your responsibilities Strategy.
Implements the portfolio and commercial strategy and ensures business development, including profit and loss (P&L).
Performance targets.
Ensures the development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Market opportunities.
Evaluates market opportunities and decides on appropriate activities in line with the strategy.
Continuously develops and manages the products, solutions, systems and/or service portfolio to achieve and secure market leadership.
Commercial.
Ensures the integrated commercial success of the organization to drive business growth and market share, enabling the organization to achieve its short-, mid-, and long-term performance and growth objectives within the assigned geographical scope.
Profitability.
Ensures profitable business growth in the allocated market.
Quality.
Oversees production and/or execution of high-quality products, services, and processes.
Monitors quality metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement in local execution, and oversees improvement activities.
Project execution.
Ensures the execution of projects according to agreed targets in terms of schedule, quality, financial results, and customer satisfaction.
Research & development.
Oversees relevant local Research and Development initiatives.
Customer relations.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
People leadership and development.
Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Local business lines with cement focus to report into this position.
Your background 10+ years in a global leadership role within the cement or related field Proven background in commercial activities Experience in portfolio management and product lifecycle management Ability to lead research and development efforts to drive innovation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to cooperate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Global mindset and cultural awareness to navigate diverse markets and drive business growth on global scale Fluency in English, both written and spoken Availability to travel internationally on occasional basis More about us At ABB, we are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment where all employees are valued and empowered to contribute to our success.
