Nowadays we employ a young and growing team of approximately 50 employees and we are looking for an experienced Buyer with advanced knowledge in International Trade, who wants to be part of our growing team to shape the future! What are you going to do? ·You'll be in charge of making the necessary acquisitions with the time, quantity and quality required, you must look for suppliers that offer the most appropriate price to the needs of our internal client.
·You must ensure that the import/export process is executed properly without delaying or harming operations within AWL.
·Communication takes place in English and Spanish.
Your challenges ·Purchase of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic materials, tools, screws, controls and services.
·Explore the market both in Mexico and abroad regarding supply possibilities, reliability and delivery time.
·Is responsible for having the required material available at the right time.
As well of negotiating prices and delivery times.
·Will attend International Trade Audits in an effective and efficient manner in accordance with the guidelines set out in the Law and established procedures.
·Analyses tariff and non-tariff restrictions on imports and exports ·Knowledge and management of documentation, permits and/or compliance with Non-Tariff Regularizations and Restrictions to optimize customs clearance.
·Familiarity with logistics tools and Freight Forwarders ·Contributes to the improvement of logistics and purchasing processes, both internal and external.
What do you bring with you? ·A Bachelor's Degree in International Trade or similar; ·At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position; ·Preferably experience in a technical and or international work environment; ·Excellent ability to work analytically and solving problems; ·Solution-oriented and have good communicative and organization skills.
·Fluent English level (written and spoken).
