BUSINESS DATA MIGRATION EXPERT - MATERIAL MANAGEMENT / PROCUREMENT

About the Role Location.
Mexico City, #LI-Hybrid As the Business Data Migration expert – Material management / Procurement, you will perform business related tasks of data migration activities on the assigned data objects in Material management area (Material master, Vendor Master, PIR’s, Source Lists, PO’s, inventory in SAP), in line with global/deployment/country requirements and timelines aligned to business processes in Operations area.
Key responsibilities.
• Ensure Material Management data cleansing tasks are completed on time • Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings • Build and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects • Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects • Ensure Material Management data readiness & verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects • Verify that data is fit for purpose (incl.
alignment with internal/external stakeholders) • Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects • Execution and approval of data verification scripts Diversity & Inclusion / EEO We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
Role Requirements • Proven understanding about the business processes in Operations area (materials, inventory, batches) • Strong communication and negotiation skills, good stakeholder management • 7+ years in country & global roles • Proficient English (additional languages preferred) • Strategic and hands on way of working (running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues) • Strong Excel Skills • ERP project implementation experience preferred • Data Migration experience preferred Why Novartis?
