ACCOUNTING SR ANALYST

Establishes and maintains the general accounting reporting and practices for the organization.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.
., MEXGAAP and USGAAP) and company policy.
May perform bookkeeping or account management duties.
This incumbent is responsible for assisting in carrying out Taxes, Fixed Asset, Treasury, Expense Reports, Cash management, prepare reconciliations for the closing month and activities related to accounting.
You will be a part of the Finance Team and report to the Finance and Accounting Manager, responsible for.
Taxes Responsible for the tax regulations, business transactions and the respective tax impacts on different activities the corporation performs in all jurisdictions we operate in Mexico with the objective of preparing and filing the applicable tax returns and Corporate Tax Reports.
Support of regulatory and customs procedures related to the government portal access.
Treasury Responsible for carrying out daily reporting activities, dealing with bank, petty cash manage, process payments to vendors, intercompany, taxes, payroll, brokers, etc.
Book close.
Responsible to prepare necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and prepare the monthly reconciliations.
Cash Pool Concentration, Petty Cash, advance payments, PPE, OTL and Taxes.
Audits.
Attend and support the local external E&Y audit as well as Danaher Internal Audit and BC BSR for Mexico in the areas of Taxes, Fixed Asset and Expense Reports, execution of action plans in the corresponding matters.
Responsible for the external audit to ensure the statutory financial statements.
Statutory to USGAAP.
Responsible for preparing the Stat to GAAP reconciliation of Mexico in a yearly basis.
Establishes internal controls and new processes according to corporate policies.
DBS User of DBS tools to quickly identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions.
Undertake other related tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.

The essential requirements of the job include.
Graduation and/or Post Graduation in accounting, taxes, and financial regulations 5 years or more of relevant experience in the field of accounting and taxes companies (preferably in the medical equipment industry).
3 years or more of relevant experience/ active participation in the monthly book closing process.
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and MEX/US GAAP principals.
Tax legislation knowledge.
Solid presentation/communication skills (both oral and written) Excel advanced knowledge Advanced English Organized and able to handle multi-tasks.
Responsible for complying with deadlines.
Due to the high visibility of this position the candidate must have strong interpersonal / communication skills, initiative, logic thinking & dynamic.
Good skill set in corporate systems, such as Oracle or SAP Ability to analyze, understand & communicate complex issues or trends is required.
