The complete process of market analysis, plan of action and selling the entire ABB portfolio, incl.
associated services is your primary responsibility.
Through the strategic network you build, you will be able to retain existing clients and acquire new ones.
To do this successfully, active participation in the team and building an internal ABB network is a must.
This position reports to Business Manager - Operations Your responsibilities Managing a selected number of accounts, deepening these contacts and identifying opportunities.
You will think with the customer about the automation solutions offered by ABB.
These may include expansions, upgrades but certainly also the digital transformation of the production environment Recognizing sales opportunities, making the necessary contacts with the relevant persons and parties at the customer, give product presentations, contribute to the issuing of quotations, ensure the follow-up of these quotations and report to the Sales Manager.
This position requires the ability to independently expand your relationship network within the designated scope of work Maintaining contacts with customer as well as ABB colleagues such as delivery managers, service engineers and product specialists To fully master these responsibilities, you will be given the necessary baggage in the form of guidance and trainings Your background You have a completed master's degree in Industrial Automation, ICT, industrial engineer or business engineering You have an affinity for (Industrial) Automation Experience in a commercial position is a plus, as well as experience with PLC, DCS and Software solutions Affinity and ambition in the digital transformation of our clients appeals to you You can work independently, or build a team, to convince the customer of the functionalities, operational or financial benefits You are able to immerse yourself in customer-specific applications and provide the customer with appropriate solutions You are ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercial and results-oriented By nature, you are used to working in an orderly manner and prioritizing You are entrepreneurial, work independently and are stress resistant Knowledge of MS-Office and preferably Salesforce.
