SENIOR SUPPORT L3 ENGINEER PL/SQL

is looking for a Senior Support L3 Engineer (with PL/SQL) for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.

You will provide technical and functional support for an application, ensuring its efficient operation and user satisfaction.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the development team, end users, and other departments to identify and resolve issues, implement improvements, and optimize system performance.
Requirements.
A minimum of 5 years experience in technical support of software applications, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and functions, and optimize database performance.
Experience using ServiceNow (other project management tools and issue-tracking systems can be considered).
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and proactively solve problems in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities.
Provide technical and functional support for an application, including troubleshooting, incident investigation, and solution implementation.
Collaborate with the development team to identify, analyze, and resolve application-related issues, including software errors, database queries, and functionality improvements.
Configure, maintain and optimize relational databases using advanced SQL to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
Develop and execute complex SQL queries to analyze data, extract relevant information, and generate detailed reports to support pharmacovigilance activities.
Provide training and guidance to end users on effective application use and best practices in data management.
Participate in implementing software updates, security patches, and new application functionalities, ensuring a smooth transition and compatibility with existing systems.
Collaborate with other departments, including the pharmacovigilance team, quality, and regulatory compliance, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in pharmacovigilance.
Will be a plus.
Familiarity with pharmacovigilance principles and processes, including detecting, evaluating, and managing adverse drug events.
Certification or additional training in SQL.
