Key responsibilities Key Responsibilities.
1.  Operational Service Delivery · Responsible for supporting the execution of various Regulatory product documentation and requests in an efficient and timely manner.
· Manages technical and customers document and data accurately and to the expected tight time scales.
Executes using conventional/ established processes and structures.
· Remains fully flexible to meet business requirements.
2.  Lead Supervision ·â€ƒâ€ƒSupporting the Regulatory Manager to manage team resources and capacity whilst ensuring strong team performance, operational excellence, and delivery of an excellent customer experience.
·â€ƒâ€ƒResponsible to coordinate on-boarding of new hires or junior members of the team.
·â€ƒâ€ƒCommunicate goals, conduct performance assessments, 1.
's, and identify training needs to enhance team members' skillsets.
·â€ƒâ€ƒResponsible to coach and guide team members in promoting their professional growth and development.
·â€ƒâ€ƒCoordinate workload distribution and prioritize tasks to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and consistency.
·â€ƒâ€ƒAct as a backup for the Regulatory Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence.
·â€ƒâ€ƒHas awareness of team, department, and regional initiatives.
·â€ƒâ€ƒResponsible for managing and meeting individual and overall department Key Performance Indicators.
3.  Stakeholder Management ·â€ƒâ€ƒCoordinates and develops effective working relationships between internal (RDA, QA, Operations & Commercial) and external stakeholders.
·â€ƒâ€ƒProactively communicates and de-escalates related issues and identifies solutions and keeps relevant internal contacts in region informed.
·â€ƒâ€ƒCoordinates response to key customer specific regulatory documentation and serves as the regulatory liaison to account managers, customer care for customer's requests.
·â€ƒâ€ƒRoutine metrics reporting to the business and attendance at business meetings if and when required Qualifications and skills Functional Competencies ·â€ƒâ€ƒPossesses a strong understanding of applicable food and beverage legislation within their supporting region.
·â€ƒâ€ƒPossesses a good understanding on the overall team processes.
·â€ƒâ€ƒCustomer Advocacy.
·â€ƒâ€ƒCapability to train and support junior members of the department as appropriate, and address development needs as required.
·â€ƒâ€ƒScientific and Technical Expertise.
Language Requirements ·â€ƒâ€ƒFluent in English, fluency in other languages relevant to your support region are a distinct advantage.
Technical Competencies ·â€ƒâ€ƒComputer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
·â€ƒâ€ƒExperience in SAP, Optiva, Power BI and Salesforce systems is essential.
Qualifications and skills ·â€ƒâ€ƒDegree or local equivalence of same in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science or related discipline.
·â€ƒâ€ƒMore than 5 years work experience and knowledge in food industry under Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Production or R&D team.
·â€ƒâ€ƒAnalytical, self-starter, decisive and able to perform under pressure and be a team player; able to take instruction, delegate and perform work accordingly.
·â€ƒâ€ƒPossess good teamwork / communication / presentation / interpersonal and organization skills.
·â€ƒâ€ƒConduct administrative tasks.
·â€ƒâ€ƒLeadership skill sets.
Other Requirements ·â€ƒâ€ƒFlexible / Time Management skills able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
·â€ƒâ€ƒOpen & able to support operation with overtime, skeletal workforce during public holidays & as and when required to ensure business continuity.
·â€ƒâ€ƒProficient in problem solving and critical thinking skills.
·â€ƒâ€ƒGood decision-making skills.
