Key responsibilities Key Responsibilities.
1.ââOperational Service Delivery · Responsible for supporting the execution of various Regulatory product documentation and requests in an efficient and timely manner.
· Manages technical and customers document and data accurately and to the expected tight time scales.
Executes using conventional/ established processes and structures.
· Remains fully flexible to meet business requirements.
2.ââLead Supervision ·ââSupporting the Regulatory Manager to manage team resources and capacity whilst ensuring strong team performance, operational excellence, and delivery of an excellent customer experience.
·ââResponsible to coordinate on-boarding of new hires or junior members of the team.
·ââCommunicate goals, conduct performance assessments, 1.
's, and identify training needs to enhance team members' skillsets.
·ââResponsible to coach and guide team members in promoting their professional growth and development.
·ââCoordinate workload distribution and prioritize tasks to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and consistency.
·ââAct as a backup for the Regulatory Manager, stepping in to lead the team in their absence.
·ââHas awareness of team, department, and regional initiatives.
·ââResponsible for managing and meeting individual and overall department Key Performance Indicators.
3.ââStakeholder Management ·ââCoordinates and develops effective working relationships between internal (RDA, QA, Operations & Commercial) and external stakeholders.
·ââProactively communicates and de-escalates related issues and identifies solutions and keeps relevant internal contacts in region informed.
·ââCoordinates response to key customer specific regulatory documentation and serves as the regulatory liaison to account managers, customer care for customer's requests.
·ââRoutine metrics reporting to the business and attendance at business meetings if and when required Qualifications and skills Functional Competencies ·ââPossesses a strong understanding of applicable food and beverage legislation within their supporting region.
·ââPossesses a good understanding on the overall team processes.
·ââCustomer Advocacy.
·ââCapability to train and support junior members of the department as appropriate, and address development needs as required.
·ââScientific and Technical Expertise.
Language Requirements ·ââFluent in English, fluency in other languages relevant to your support region are a distinct advantage.
Technical Competencies ·ââComputer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
·ââExperience in SAP, Optiva, Power BI and Salesforce systems is essential.
Qualifications and skills ·ââDegree or local equivalence of same in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science or related discipline.
·ââMore than 5 years work experience and knowledge in food industry under Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Production or R&D team.
·ââAnalytical, self-starter, decisive and able to perform under pressure and be a team player; able to take instruction, delegate and perform work accordingly.
·ââPossess good teamwork / communication / presentation / interpersonal and organization skills.
·ââConduct administrative tasks.
·ââLeadership skill sets.
Other Requirements ·ââFlexible / Time Management skills able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
·ââOpen & able to support operation with overtime, skeletal workforce during public holidays & as and when required to ensure business continuity.
