SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

POSITION PURPOSE The Sharepoint Developer will be responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining sites and applications that enrich and optimize the exchange of information and produce effective communications between departments and divisions.
They will interact with associates to gather and define requirements, analyze those requirements, and determine and implement the most effective technologies to satisfy their needs.
This position will follow development best practices that include adhering to standards and established security guidelines for the creation and delivery of applications that are visually-pleasing, content rich, with user-friendly interfaces and intuitive navigation.
MAJOR POSITION REQUIREMENTS Develop and maintain web-based applications and workflows using Microsoft SharePoint Online and PowerPlatform technologies.
Support of development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and release management.
SharePoint administration activities to include adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions of sites.
Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform and intranet.
Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.
EDUCATION AND SPECIFIC TRAINING Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (SharePoint/PowerPlatform) certification preferred.
Skills Required.
Developing SharePoint Online sites, pages, lists/libraries, forms and workflows.
Stand-alone and SharePoint-integrated development on the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI).
SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams integration.
Hands-on experience with migration of on-prem SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online.
Experience in development using.
ET Framework, PowerShell, MS-SQL Server, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML.
Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of the box SharePoint functionality.
Strong UI design skills, including responsive design Skills Preferred.
Experience using the M365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms, OneDrive).
Experience with Active Directory.
Exceptional communication and collaborative skills.
Experience with web services including REST, SOAP and/or WebAPI Experience with the Agile development methodology.
