Job Title Salesforce Developer



SUMMARY



The Salesforce Developer II is responsible for providing application software development services and related technical support to ensure the availability of applications and systems for critical business operations. Draws on previous experience and requirements provided to develop simple to moderately complex solutions, with input on how to take a new perspective on existing solutions.



GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Salesforce configuration and customization Collaborates with various business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions. Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, approval processes and validation rules to improve efficiency and align with business requirements.



Data management Manage data integrity, perform data importsexports and ensure data cleanliness. Monitor data quality and conduct regular data audits to maintain accurate and uptodate records in Salesforce.



User training and support Provide training to endusers on Salesforce functionalities, best practices and new features. Provide support, address questions and resolve incidents promptly to enhance user productivity.



Reporting and dashboards Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into business and user performance. Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and implement solutions to meet their analytical needs.



Salesforce maintenance Conduct regular system maintenance tasks, including managing user profiles, roles and permissions as well as maintaining security settings to ensure data security and privacy.



Integration management Collaborate with Adecco IT and external IT vendors to integration Salesforce with other businesscritical systems and thirdparty applications to streamline data flow and optimize business processes.



Stay updated on Salesforce best practices Continuously monitor Salesforce releases, enhancements and new features. Stay aligned with industry best practices and trends to propose and implement improvements to Adeccos Salesforce org.



Troubleshooting and resolution Identify and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce, including system errors, integration errors, bugs and data inconsistencies.



Reports and Dashboards Design and create custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into key business metrics. Assist users in generating meaningful reports to aid decisionmaking.



Documentation Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes. Keep records of changes and updates made to the Salesforce environment.



Unit tests software written personally or by other developers ensures software is written and tested in compliance with identified guidelines, internal and external audit requirements and any related financial and legislative requirements.



Accurately reports activities and status to project managementdevelopment team leader.

Establishes and maintains an understanding of existing application code, development practices and solutions currently managed by the development team.



Provides guidance to and may train less experienced developers.

Leads discussions with business users and other technical teams to solve moderately complex to complex business issues.



Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.



EDUCATION JOB REQUIREMENTS



Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science or a related field with a minimum of five 5 years of related softwareapplication experience or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.

Previous related experience in the staffing solutions industry, and experience working in a global organization is highly desirable.



COMPETENCIES



Evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense.



Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security model, and integration methods.
Proficiency in creating custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder flows, and formula fields.
Experience with data migration, data quality, and data governance best practices is a plus.
Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and APIs is a plus.
Develop, improve andor streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives.
Demonstrate creativity in inventing new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications.
Ability to recognize the needs of internal customers and create new applications that answer those needs.
Demonstrate expertise in applying best standards and practices in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
Demonstrate expertise in applying best standards and practices in the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC.
Knowledge of training methodologies and the ability to develop and deliver technicaloperational training to various levels of employees.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply best practices in software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
