MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Mechanical Technician Location.
Nairobi Responsibilities.
Carry out preventive maintenance on all plant and equipment as allocated by the factory engineer.
Record all repairs undertaken in the allocated plant and equipment and any spare parts used.
Maintain plant equipment and property to the appropriate specifications within budget.
This includes annual general maintenance as directed by the factory engineer and company house/s.
At alternating dates with other technicians, will be expected to maintain the steam boiler daily maintenance program.
Ensure application of LOTTO procedures on machines.
Experience you will bring.
National Diploma in mechanical engineering from recognized institution 3 years minimum experience preferably in a busy manufacturing environment Demonstrate hands on skills with minimum supervision in the following fields of Mechanical Engineering.
Plant maintenance Thermal dynamics, compressed air systems Experience in TPM and WCM environments would be an advantage Behaviours you will need.
Good communication skills Team player Proactive, innovative and able to initiate action Computer literate What's in it for you?
