Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Mechanical Engineer located in Guadalajara, North.
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, Mechanical Solutions, Mechanical Engineer role involves being responsible for designing, validating, and implementing innovative and cost effective product solutions of complex scope in order to support the organization in prototype development through full-scale production.
What a typical day looks like.
Engage with customer's engineering team early in the development process to gain design intent understanding.
Works with a design teams to create and review design sketches, layouts, and plans related to products primarily designed with sheet metal parts.
Perform design and manufacturing optimization of new products provided by our customer's, which include and not limited to.
Design for Manufacturing Design for Assembly Design for Cost Design for Automation Design for X Analyze product specifications and select raw materials and components for production.
Construct models and prototypes, testing and validating designs.
Collaborate with manufacturing sites to ensure products meet design and customer expectations.
Study test data, compare with similar designs, and make informed assessments.
Develop and implement control systems for production monitoring.
Perform Root Cause Analysis, address defects, and execute DFMEA The experience we're looking to add to our team.
BA/BS or equivalent work experience Proficient on electrical mechanical  experience Effective at communicating with customers, peers and support staff.
English speaking.
Excellent at problem solving and decision making.
Provide expertise for a variety of projects from design and prototyping to production manufacturing.
Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of product, components and systems Recommend technical capabilities required for the completion of projects Sheet metal design and manufacturing in low and high volume (soft and hard tooling).
