Job Summary The role of an Information Systems Sr Specialist has limited breath but significant depth in a specific technology and/or methodology.
The Information Systems (IS) Sr Specialist acts as liaison between Information Systems (IS) vendors and Nissan to ensure objectives are met within a specified technical expertise.
The IS Sr Specialist comprehends the relationship between Nissan initiatives and strategies and their impact on development initiatives.
The IS Sr Specialist develops an awareness regarding IS opportunities that enable newer technologies to better support Nissan within a specified area of expertise.
The IS Sr Specialist participates in project process reviews and audits and may monitor the status of all IS development activities within the specified area of expertise.
The IS Specialist promotes policies, procedures, and processes that contribute to the IS organization’s objectives.
The IS Sr Specialist may work with affiliated companies to conduct business and IS strategic planning activities within their area of expertise.
The IS Sr Specialist may be engaged in the methodical investigation, definition, analysis and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, and the information they use within relative to the specialist’s area of expertise.
Specialist areas of expertise include communications, technical services, specific product and/or methodology expertise, engineering, operations, networks, and/or specialized applications.
Job Functions ​Coordinate multiple business users on submitted incidents and working them to resolution keeping service levels maintained.
Propose solutions and keep track of server health and mitigate issues that arise.
Engaging other business units or vendors as required.
Manage submitted requests for new Mailboxes, Distribution Lists, and accounts and approve/reject accordingly.
Lead project based meetings as required.
Coordinate mailbox migrations to O365.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for escalated issues.
Scope.
; Exchange mailboxes within multiple countries in the region Minimum Qualifications Ability to manage incidents as they occur by working with multiple third party vendors to ensure maintenance and support is carried out effectively among all parties.

The IS Specialist must have technical skills and the ability to understand technical systematic issues and communicate issues effectively to management and peers.
Excellent communication skills that promote the establishment of partnerships with service providers Ability to implement approved actions and workarounds with vendors while minimizing risk.
Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in.
Office 365 platform including, Teams, Exchange Online, Azure AD Connect, Hybrid Configurations and mailbox migration to O365 Administering an Exchange environment with ; mailboxes Troubleshooting and administration of multiple versions of Exchange Troubleshooting and administration Lync , Skype for Business and Teams Troubleshooting and administration of Active Directory and Azure AD Excellent communication ability across technical and non-technical users Ability to work with multiple technical and non-technical teams across the company Create and maintain technical documentation Experience.
10 years of overall IS/IT experience with at least 7 years of hands-on supporting a large Exchange server environment 7+ years' experience in working with multi-vendor technology teams Experience with mail gateways such as Proofpoint is a plus In depth knowledge of the utilization of PowerShell is a plus Familiarity with various programming / scripting languages, operating systems, and computer hardware platforms Nice to have.

Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent.
Advanced technical degree a plus.
Computer Skills.
Possess in-depth knowledge in area of applied specialty and broad knowledge of competing technologies and/or methodologies.
