As a core member of the HR team in the Motion Business Area Germany, you will be responsible for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business.
Reporting to the Lead Business HR Business Partner, you will translate business goals into HR priorities and ensure effective implementation in partnership with the Centers of Expertise (CoE) and Global Business Services (GBS).
\n\nAs part of a maternity cover the position is limited.
However, in a fast-changing market and business environment anything can happen.
Your responsibilities Partnering with the relevant leaders to understand business drivers, current and long-term strategy, and identifying opportunities for HR to add value to the business Implementing strategy and plans related to organization development, optimal utilization, redeployment and best allocation of people resources Driving high performance in the Business Area Motion Germany, in line with global business performance standards, KPIs, and targets Establishing strong relationships with relevant stakeholders and local works councils, providing assistance and guidance in HR matters Partnering with leaders, articulating business needs to, and collaborating with the Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure significant and relevant support is provided to the business Ensuring that people and organizational capabilities required in the mid to long term are understood and actioned, including maintaining adequate levels of resources required to meet or exceed the annual business targets Interpreting HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and utilizing findings to define and execute the appropriate actions Living ABB\us core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Your background Several years of experience in Human Resources with first experience as HR Business Partner A degree in business administration, psychology or similar or comparable education with relevant professional experience An passionated HR professional who enjoys partnering with management to build a dynamic, thougthful and inclusive work culture A creative and collaborative thinker and excellent communicator and organizer who brings a high degree of empathy to working relationships A strategic business partner who understands business needs and enable people in the organization to grow and face new challenges Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken and willingness to travel Benefits Retirement plan Flexible work practices Canteen Employee Share Acquisition Plan Wellbeing program More about us ABB is able to offer you an interesting role within a highly motivated team, together with open communication structures.
