FINANCIAL DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Your role is key in ensuring consistency of standards and operational stability.
Collaborating with the wider Data management and risk teams to oversee the delivery of accurate, timely and correct data while leveraging knowledge of the Market (prices).
You will produce and leverage business intelligence to facilitate and define monitoring and controlling of data related operations to ensure the standards for data services are met.
You will collaborate with engineering teams on data product and services development to provide the business with high-quality data.
In details, the position encompasses duties and responsibilities as follows.
§ Streamlining data collection/load procedures and analysis of delivery and use-cases.
§ Developing and maintaining observational content together with the related referential attributes.
§ Defining and implementing data management protocols and connected processes § Maintaining business glossary; recording business rules, standards and quality guidelines.
§ Owning and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of market data.
§ Identifying and resolving market data related issues.
(data confirmation & validation) § Becoming the Data Steward of Market Prices and sharing knowledge across the organization.
§ Additional BAU and Project related tasks assigned by senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate disposes of.
· Well-honed listening skills, allowing you to draw understanding of internal client needs.
· Methodical and organized, creating and maintaining precise and clear documentation and code.
· Strong attention to detail and high degree of problem-solving skills.
· Solid knowledge of data management principles.
· Demonstrated track record with customer awareness, ability to build-up and manage relationships and deal confidently with senior management and external vendors.
· Effective research, analysis, and communication skills.
· Maintain data integrity · Strong knowledge of SQL.
· Knowledge of Python · Experience of data quality control techniques is an advantage.
· Knowledge about commodities trading is desirable.
· Advanced education in statistics, mathematics, computer science.
· A minimum of 2 years working experience on a data-related role Polanco.
